Job Description
At MTN Nigeria, a leader in telecommunications, we are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst – Visualisation and Strategy to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in driving data-driven decision-making by supporting the business in understanding and utilizing business intelligence (BI) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate and Contribute: Engage in developing and reviewing user requirements and functional specifications for systems implementation and optimal usage.
BI Systems Implementation: Participate in the design and implementation of BI software, ensuring smooth integration with databases and data warehouses.
Streamline Data Usage: Help gather requirements, design, and roll out BI solutions across the organization, ensuring a unified approach to business intelligence data for informed decision-making.
Support and Troubleshoot: Address and resolve BI system issues, ensuring high availability and smooth functionality through thorough testing and support.
Customer Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and availability of key customer data such as usage, behavior, and ARPU by geography and product.
Training & Support: Provide training and first-level application support for business intelligence tools, enabling users to leverage the data effectively.
Data Stewardship: Ensure the integrity and accessibility of enterprise data and ensure business rules align with data structures for effective BI practices.
Expertise Sharing: Bring your knowledge of BI best practices, data architectures, and telecom-specific data usage to support key business decisions.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: First Degree in any related discipline
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English
Experience:
3-7 years of experience, ideally within a medium-sized organization
Prior experience in research or business analysis is highly desirable
